1. Ordinary Portland Cement 33 Grade

It is often used for general community building purposes such as plastering, flooring and construction and is used up to M20 level concrete. This type of cement combines low pressure forces with low hydration temperatures that ensure minimal cracking. However, this type of cement is rarely found in the market. 2. Ordinary Portland Cement 43 Grade

Similarly, 33-grade OPC cement is also used for general public purposes, such as plaster, to lay concrete distances of up to 30 M. This type of concrete receives a minimum compression strength of 43 Mega-Pascal in 28 days. Among the various types of cement available, this one is widely available on the market due to its widespread use in the construction industry although it is gradually being replaced by cement in composite form. Ordinary Portland Cement is supplied with Indian Standard code 8112.


3. Ordinary Portland Cement 53 Grade

This type of cement is used with a higher grade of concrete than the M30 for both common purposes as well as to build bridges, roads, multi-storey building works, etc. They reached a minimum of 53 Mega-Pascal compressions within 28 days of healing. They are also widely used in reinforced concrete concrete, which are complex where concrete with low strength and ductility is combined with reinforcement for high strength and ductility. The application is also considered for grout cement, fast-moving cement usually requiring high strength. Issued Indian Standard 12129 code.



4. Portland Slag Cement (PSC)

Portland Slag is a type of cement that if you are dealing with poor types of areas such as wastewater treatment or seawater is not cracked, so it is much better than Ordinary Portland Cements. With its high power, it works best on very high-rise buildings or durable facilities such as roads or bridges. Its properties work well with Portland cement in increasing strength, thus reducing penetration and improving resistance to various chemical reactions such as chloride and sulphate attacks or mild corrosion. Unlike different types of cement, this is only available in certain markets. This cement is issued with an Indian Standard 455 code.

5. Colored Cement: White

Although this type of Colored cement is more expensive compared to Ordinary Portland Cement, it has its advantages and disadvantages. Made of immature materials such as iron oxide and manganese oxide. As the name suggests it is white in color and the chemical composition and physical properties of this cement also meet the requirements of Ordinary Portland Cement. Colored cement is given the Indian Standard code 8042.


6. Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC)

Portland Pozzolana is known for its quality, high density and good corrosion resistor which makes the concrete dense and therefore durable. Due to the high immovable quality and long lasting strength of more than 90 days, in severe soil conditions, this type of cement is used in place of standard Portland cement. It is therefore used for the construction of marine structures, large concrete structures such as the feet of a bridge under rough conditions, water-constructed structures such as dams and retaining walls or to make basic stone masonry and plastering works. Portland Pozzolana Cement is also readily available in the market. This cement is given the Indian Standard code as 1489 P-2.


7. Hydrophobic Portland Cement

Hydrophobic Portland cement is not readily available due to the high availability of different types of cement on the market and is more expensive than Ordinary Portland Cement at the moment, it is best to use it in cold climates as it is. produced keeping in mind the needs in high rainfall areas in order to improve its quality of life. Giving it a chemical during production makes it a good water repellent as the name implies so it is not affected by the high humidity which makes it able to be stored for a long time, which is why this cement is used in the construction of spill roads, dams. and other underwater structures. This cement is given the Indian Standard code 8043.
